Another trip to Witch City...

How I love Salem this time of year. Just got back & had a frightfully festive time, of course! ^_^

Oh how we missed seeing you guys. The doc gave Sav a Rx for Tamiflu and she went from a 104.9 fever on Saturday morning to completely better within 5 hours. She still has a cough and is tired though. But we rearranged all our reservations and had to pay for airline tickets home, but we made it into Salem on Monday afternoon. I was sick with the thought that we missed you all probably within hours. But if she hadn't gotten that Tamiflu, she'd still be horribly ill right now. We just left Salem today and are now in Vermont. I wish you guys could come up here this weekend and do that hayride at Adams Family farm with us, but it's 3 hour drive for one night for you guys and you just did that last weekend...ha! We fly home on Sunday. Not seeing ya'll had me very sad I must admit. I had looked forward to it all year long. :o(

Hey Wens! Glad to hear your vaca was a go after all! Very happy to hear that Savvy is feeling much better too! We left Salem around 2pm on Monday afternoon. I wonder what time you arrived??? I would have fallen over if I ran into you on the streets of Salem that day! Ha! ^_^

Ha...you probably would have run the other way for fear of catching Swine Flu....ha ha! We were there at 2:00, but we didn't get out of the hotel and into downtown Salem until after 5:00 because we were all so beat from that dreaded plane ride and being sick.

On Tuesday, I was walking out of a shop on Essex and I ran into my buddy Dan from MySpace. He lives near there and is an artist/musician who plays Halloween gigs there as Doctor Gasp. I hadn't signed onto MS in several months so I never got around to telling him I'd be in town so we could meet up the way we had 2 years ago when we met you guys there. But lo and behold...there he was. It was such a total surprise and it really made me happy. It helped ease the pain of being so close and yet so far from getting to see ya'll. I love crazy things happening like that...makes life fun. :o)
