Christmas or Thanksgiving? Anyway, there are events to look forward to. During the Victorian period, Christmas was the time for ghost stories (Halloween was not celebrated as much as now) and there is an important "scary" folklore surrounding Christmas. The French have the Père Fouettard, and there is also the legend of Saint Nicolas. It keeps my imagination busy until next Halloween.
Hmmm, something to think about! We Halloween-Heads need to keep ourselves busy all year round!
