Salem Time

Nothing beats Salem in October!  (Although, it was 84 degrees on the day we went & zero fall foliage in sight!)  ^_^

My Hallow E'en Drawings ^_^

I decided to pull out my trusty drawing pad & be a lil' creative during our power outage amid Hurricane Irene!  The first drawing is done in Ebony pencil.  With the second drawing, I decided to redo the first one, but in my favorite signature colors...black, orange & white!  I used simple Sharpie markers for the vibrant black & orange.  I think I may go ahead & have the latter matted &  framed for my wall.  ^_^

Hallow E'en Snoopy

Three Lil' Punkins All In A Row...

Went to our local farm this weekend & decorated our punkins very simply. ^_^

A Witch Just For Hilda!

I am sooooo excited! Look what I just received in z mail todays?!? My very own homemade Witch Doll made specially for me by my bestest & most talented witchy friend in the world, Wendy the (Very) Good Witch!!!

I received a box of magical loveliness today & among the many beautifully, bewitchingly wrapped Hallow E'en treasures was this adorable lil' witch! She even resembles me! I am so in LOVE with her!

I am one happy lil' Hildagard on this fine Wednesday! Thank you sooo much Wendy! I will treasure her forever & ever!

Wendy's artwork is a must see! Go on & sneak a peak at www.etsy.com/shop/artfulgypsy and also at www.artfulgypsy.typepad.com. ^_^

Busy Drawin' & Paintin' on Funkins!

My fab friend Wendy the (Very) Good Witch of the ever so fab The Hallowe'en Tree gave me this fab idea. Why don't I create my lil' drawings on funkins, rather than on real pumpkins, so I could enjoy them year after year! What a FABULOUS idea!

Last year, I decorated a real punkin with some bewitching lil' Hallow E'en drawings, to only toss it in the woods once it started to decay. Well, not anymore! Thanks for the wondrous idea Wens!

I enjoyed decoratin' these fine funkins ever so much. I sent the white funkin to my lovely lil' Wens & kept the dark orange one for me-self! ^_^
